The stories we tell ourselves

I posted the last few pics, not to be smug, but to offer a little encouragement.

We are a product of the stories we get wrapped up in.

For a loooooong time I was someone who didn’t like mornings, didn’t like exercise, couldn’t run, couldn’t change job, couldn’t find the time to focus on me because we had businesses to manage, school schedules, dog walks and the list goes on. This is life for most of us….

But we can have a say in how these stories play out. We can re-write them….

Now, life is very different.

New habits take time. An updated lifestyle takes time to take shape but it is do’able.

Now, my story is more focused on my health (physical & mental), work that I LOVE, protected time to spend in a way that is free of expectation, with people that are helping to shape the story in a positive way.

Yes there’s a lot of action that underpins the change, and it takes time, but it always starts with the story we tell ourselves and which parts we’re ready to re-write.

If you’re curious about your story, but aren’t sure where to start, I would love to help x
